I have brought two different types of cables to connect from the ps3 to the television but all i'm getting is a blue screen, are these two compatible and does anyone know what type of cables i can buy in order to get it to work?
How do you change the settings on the ps3? as I don't have a user guide and can't even get a screen up on the television. I know that I definitely don't have HDMI

what cables are you using?

if your tv has a HDMI input then buy a HDMI cable

if your tv doesnt have HDMI, then you can use component cables(green, blue, red inputs)

make sure you change the ps3's output settings
